Col. Noel C. Pace, JD, MHA, MBA, MSS, FACHE
Legal and Compliance Officer Noel C. Pace is a board-certified healthcare administrator with over twenty years of experience in leading, operating, and assisting large for-profit, non-profit, and government healthcare organizations. For five years he has served as a healthcare compliance attorney at a multi-state healthcare law firm and multiple behavioral health organizations where he has deftly handled a myriad of legal and regulatory issues. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami (UM) School of Law, magna cum laude, where he earned honors in Business Associations and Legal Informatics, completed his internship and fellowship and earned the highest grade in the Medical-Legal Partnership Program with the UM Miller School of Medicine, and is a published–member of the NSAC Law Review. Attorney Pace also holds a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, a Masters in Health Administration from Baylor University, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He has served as the Chief Operating Officer of a community hospital, Executive Director for multiple for-profit surgery centers, Accreditation Counsel for a for-profit surgical management company, Chief Administrator and General Counsel for a network of behavioral health centers, as a consultant for a telemedicine company’s private equity Series A funding, and as President of ACHE of South Florida. As a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, he has commanded multiple field hospitals and currently commands the Army Reserve’s 176th Medical Brigade in Seagoville, Texas. Colonel Pace has served in Korea, Honduras, Iraq, Colombia, and Chile and is a recipient of the Combat Medical Badge and Bronze Star Medal. He also serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) International Center for Emergency Management in Boca Raton, Florida, which is in partnership with the Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Israel and on the Board of Advisors for the University of South Florida (USF) Digital Marketing program. Noel also serves as Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Health Law Section’s eHealth, Privacy, and Security Group and as Health Law & Policy advisor to the ABA’s Health Law Fraud and Compliance Group. FAU has also qualified Dr. Pace as an Adjunct Professor in their Healthcare Administration Master’s Degree Programs and he is licensed to practice law in Florida, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
